About WROC
The Early Years
On March 8, 1983 the Women's Resource and Outreach Centre (WROC) was born out of harsh economic times and the determination of members of Committee of Women for Progress (CWP) to improve the lives of women and their families.
The Communities We Work In
WROC is located at the centre of several inner-city communities including lower Beechwood Avenue, Lyndhurst Avenue, Greenwich Park and Maxfield Park in Kingston.
What We Do
WROC aims to provide holistic services and programmes that promote gender equality and the empowerment of women and youth.
