Women's outreach centre marks 25th anniversary

The Women's Resource and Outreach Centre (WROC), located at 47 Beechwood Avenue in Kingston will this Friday mark 25 years of working for the development of women and their children in Jamaica.
The activities - to be held one day before International Women's Day - March 8 - will include entertainment and a farmer's market to be run by women in client communities in the Lyndhurst Road and Beechwood Avenue areas, as well as in St Thomas.
The WROC said it has - within the last two decades and a half - implemented several projects which have made a significant difference in the lives of the families in its client communities.
