Become a Friend of WROC

The Women’s Resource and Outreach Centre Limited (WROC) is a Non-Profit-Organization (NGO) that promotes gender equality and the empowerment of women and youth through social, economic and advocacy programmes.

Through development work primarily in the Lyndhurst/ Greenwich area and surrounding communities in Kingston and some areas of rural Jamaica, WROC for the past 26 years, has been fulfilling its community development goal through the generous contributions of individuals and organizations as well as project funding from donor agencies.

Women and their families are engaged through one of WROC’s set of core programmes - Sustainable livelihoods, Health and Well being, Community Capacity Building and Advocacy. Our outreach programmes involve mainly children, adult women and senior citizens, and the extensive needs span both physical and emotional support.  Jobs are also high in demand.

Your contributions of any kind; time, skills, money, food, or anything that you think may be useful will make a difference in the lives of the women and their families that we serve.
